Our IRC server is located at "irc.dawntide.net" (Link) in channel #dt.

To use IRC in FireFox, download the ChatZilla Plugin.

Come hang out and talk with the devs! We're just hanging out there and are frequently active, and will answer most questions that aren't about beta invites.

I wasn't sure if this warranted its own thread so if a reply under this topic is frowned upon please feel free to delete or move my question =).

The past week or so, I have been unable to log into the IRC channel. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? This is the error I am getting.

[ERROR] Connection to irc://dawntide.net/ (irc://dawntide.net/) refused. Reconnecting in 2 minutes.
[ERROR] The connection to irc://dawntide.net/ (irc://dawntide.net/) was aborted with error (null): Component returned failure code: 0x804b000d [nsIBinaryOutputStream.writeBytes] @ 522.

I use Chatzilla, if that matters.

Any clue what this is or why I am getting it? IRC worked fine a few weeks ago. Thanks for the help! Sorry again if this is in the wrong spot.

I assume dawntide.net no longer points to the same box like previous. Hurray for dawntide devoted server.

I installed Chatzilla today. It used to be that you had to install the Mozilla (not Firefox) browser to use it, but it's now available as a Firefox add-on.
